All too often there are thought to be sub-clinical deficiencies in essential vitamins and minerals which underly much illness. This balanced multivitamin and mineral product is designed to help insure against these inadequacies affecting your dog’s health.
One problem common to many supplements is the body’s ability to absorb its requirements from the tablets/capsules. Vega’s unique powdering technique promotes optimum absorption and the supplement is designed to be given with food. Capsules may be opened and mixed with the dog’s diet. The supplement is generally suitable for dogs with a dietary allergy, as it contains no wheat, gluten, yeast or lactose.

Vitamin B
There are a number of B Vitamins, and they are necessary for the proper function of the nervous system and for healthy maintenance of blood, hair, skin, nails, eyes, intestine, and the liver. They are depleted when using anti-biotics, some hormone supplements and by mental and physical stress.
Choline + Inositol
Needed for fat metabolism in the Liver, normal function of nerves, hormone production and maintenance of kidneys, heart and blood vessels.
Folic acid
This assists RNA/DNA development in the unborn foetus and is said to reduce birth defects. It is needed for protein metabolism and the formation of red blood cells.
Vitamin C
Needed for the maintenance of collagen, bones, gums, teeth and blood vessels, for the absorption of iron and utilisation of folic acid. It also has Anti-Oxidant properties, preventing damage to Vitamin A & E, is involved in cell/tissue repair, the formation of adrenal gland hormones, and maintains the immune system.
Vitamin E
A powerful Anti-Oxidant, it prevents the oxidation of certain fats and vitamins, helps maintain normal blood clotting and red cell integrity. Vitamin E is also important in healthy cardiovascular, skin and reproductive function.
A base of Kelp and Green Barley fulfils a dogs need for chlorophyll, and supplies a natural source of Iodine required by the Thyroid Gland to regulate the body’s metabolism.
